You just can't use them. You must keep and use the originals but you must enlarge their opening to fully engage the new pegs. The D606 is great for harder terrain but not sand and trials tires work really well everywhere BUT sand. My most recent DOT knobby test was with a set of AC-10s. The rear tire is ok. Not great but ok, but the front is nearly uncontrollable in sand. And they are no cheaper than a good sand tire like my favorite (S-12s).For 4-st it’s fairly linear with rpm, more rpm, more advance. 2-st are not. If you look at most 2-st timing curves they start out advanced and then it’s reduced at higher rpm. Small changes at high rpm can make differences is power. The only real way to verify what is needed is to do dyno runs at different timing.De-smog kit will clean things up and loose a little weight. tire selection makes a big difference off road. You will have to compromise tire life and on or off road grip depending on what you go with. Second, seems geared higher than I was expecting for a rock crawler, 50t rear stock , 52t rear seems needed for tight. Cutaway portion remains at 45.7mm, resulting in a 3.0mm difference. (hence 3.0 slide) Voila, just like that, no flat spot nor bog at needle/pilot overlap. Put in 40 pilot jet and screw at 1.75 turns out. idle stable but smells slightly rich, but feels better than 30.
