I went through hell because of this confusion when buying my first pair of STF 501s. Yes, sanforized will shrink less, but it still shrinks. jeans that fit before a first wash will not fit the same after, ESPECIALLY raw selfedge. if your raw denim fits before washing, it will not fit after. all mills know how much each model will shrink.Raw denim is still a relatively niche category, and there are brands with products better than the competition. The 13mwz feeling over more heavy duty than the Levi's makes sense as the StF has a weight of 12.5oz and is image the other 501 is similar weight. The fit is high rise compared to the 47mwz, going up to the waist while the 47's sit just a bit below.Wash Inside out. Do not use hot water. Use Cold or Warm. Use a detergent with no brighteners.
